About Me
My name is Allen Hollister and I am the author of Wideband Amplifier Design.
I have over 30 years experience in digital, analog, and RF engineering design, and development. I am expert in many different technology areas including instrumentation, amplifier design, communications, systems, RFID, and engineering management.
I have 14 patents either granted or in the patent pending process including four in the last year related to RFID. I have over 12 years of senior level (VP or Director) engineering management experience. I was one of the founders of the VXIbus consortium and served as chairman. I served on the IEEE 802.11 WiFi committee, and I have worked as Assistant Professor of Engineering at Portland State University.
I am a founder and Vice President of Engineering for Identifi Incorporated, a pioneer in RFID technology.
As part owner and VP of Engineering for PSI Wireless, I can help you solve your problems. PSI Wireless works with companies who see market demand for a wireless product or services but run into technical and regulatory challenges in the development phase. Those challenges cause a loss of focus on the company's core business, cost over runs, and embarrassing launch delays. We have the design skills and manufacturing capability in-house to get product on the shelves quickly and cost effectively, which allows our clients to focus on their core business and customers. Come see what we can do for you.
I am a "Besser Associate" and teach two seminars for them: Engineering UHF RFID Systems , and Wideband/HF Amplifier Design Techniques.
I earned BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Nebraska.
